Paypal in Nepal – Possible in 2010 ?

Paypal, being the biggest online payment gateway worldwide will surely provide its service to Nepal if any International banks are interested in investing or opening branch office here. People of Nepal including Pakistan and other are suffering with the problem of paypal. Webmasters/ Buyers and sellers online mostly using paypal as their payment gateway so without having a valid and verified paypal account it will be very tough to have a entry on online business.

How are People of Nepal doing business online ?

I am seeing many people are opening account using the country INDIA or USA. In case of USA they will be banned within a month by paypal but Indian accounts are being used till 5 months with $500/ year limit. However these accounts are also restricted and limited after a while. People are really suffering much here are searching alternatives. Some were buying virtually verified accounts but they also get limited after a while so it is of no use.

How am i managing ?

I am one the biggest webmaster in Nepal and probably i do the highest transaction each month through paypal. How i am managing is a secret which i cannot tell but i also feel uneasy sometimes. I do around $1000-$1500 transaction each month via paypal. (To send money to writers pay fees etc) There was time when i suffered much with it but now i am managing however and always searching for best way so that i can help others too. You can get credit card from banks in Nepal which works 100% fine to send money and make online payments.

Why paypal listed Nepal in Send Only country ?

It means paypal is joking and kicking in ass. It says you can send money worldwide from Nepal but cannot receive even a single dollar. It is like saying to street boy : You have been given with a bank account where you can deposit unlimited amount of money. When people cannot receive any money then WTF ? will they pay to anyone? we people don’t have ability to pay international users rather we need work ourselves. If we think deeply, even giving access to send money is good service though i said whatever above .. .LOL understand guys !

Lets hope paypal will be available in Nepal this year so that we will be connected with the world of Internet market.

This is also appeal for paypal. If some high level banks here like Standard Charted wish then they could make paypal provide service here.

So the best solution for payment payment in Nepal is Get Credit card from banks of Nepal. ($ account and the card must work for doing online transaction.). So no problem sending money.
