Indian Idol 5 Gets Top 13 contestants

One of the most popular reality shows in India “Indian Idol” has got its top 13 contestants instead of top 12. Indian Idol reality show was started in 2005 giving the first idol Abhijit Shawant who is a very good and versatile single and deserved to be “Vharat Ki Shaan”. But things went petty bad from Idol 2. Winner Sandeep was not the best singer among contestants. Surprisingly, Indian idol 3 was won by Prashant Tamang. (Prashant is from my country and i should be happy but i am not). Prashant Tamang didn’t even deserve top 10 position in Indian idol. There were far better singers like Ankita. Prashant is never seen after that in Bollywood. He sang few Nepali Songs but were not good. After that judges were in much tension and thinking about solution not to have a bad singer in top 12. The Idol 4 season was good enough though Nepali Singer Kapil Thapa went till final.

But, in 5th season of Indian Idol Judges planned to select top 13 singers who deserve to be indian idol. All of the 13 singers are cool and sing really well. Judges have selected most of the singers who are good human too with good heart and poor family background. Selecting Meghna was great decision made by judges. I appreciate it much. Below is the list of Top 13 contestants of Indian Idol 5

1. Bhumi Trivedi, Baroda, 21

Bhumi was in Indian Idol 3 and 4. She really works hard and has build up confidence now. She has learned music in these two years and improved much. She deserves Indian Idol Top 5 position. (In my personal view). There is possibility of being in top 3 maximum because she is good looking girl also.

2. Swaroop Khan, Jodhpur, 19

Swaroop Khan gave the best ever performance in Audition round by Singing “Chap Tilak Sab..”. He had been singing that song from years but had never sang bollywood songs. He has Desi Voice and can do hard labor. However, there is less possibility of being in top 5 because of his personality.

3. Tia Kar, Mumbai, 19

Tia is good looking,young and cute girl. She will be in top 5 because of her personality rather than her singing. Sings good too.

4. Vishwas Rai, Allahabad, 29

Good Singer ! Great Voice. I want to See in Top 5 But it will be bit harder for him.

5. Sashi Suman, Mumbai, 21

Good Guy cum Singer. Humble person with sweet voice. I would say best of luck to you. Lets see what will happen.

6. Manisha Karmakar, Kolkata, 19

O ya ! Manisha sings cool and has good supportive audience. Possibly she will not be eliminated before reaching to top 5 position.

7. Meghna Kumar, Jhansi, 17

Good person, great singer. Sings from heart. Bold personality. However, she is blind and i am not seeing any chances of her being in top 5. She may be eliminated in first gala round.

8.Sreeramchandra, Secunderabad, 24

9. Arpita Khan, Kolkata, 19

Arpita is Dammn Good Singer. However, she doesn’t have voters. She deserves Top 3 but i doubt she will be in top 5.

10. Shivam Pathak, Mumbai, 20

11. Rakesh Maini, Agra, 27

12. Naushad Ali Kawa, Jaipur, 18

and Finally 13th selected was Yashraj Kapil, New Delhi, 18. He was selected because of his good singing, poor family background. Was given threat because of his over confidence.
