Duplicate content is one of the most discussed topic always. Many people ask me i was Penalized because i used duplicate content and how can i get rid from it and many other have asked does google kick out because i am using duplicate content. Today i am giving my view !

No one would love duplicate content ans same rule goes to search engines. Search engines are made to give best result to visitors when they search for any term. If you are looking to buy a movie ticket in Alabama and you find a article about some movie in Alabama you will surely want to kick your PC and will be frustrated. You will be happy only when you find what you are looking for. Search engines always try to give you what you are looking for though they are unable ! They try their best. They are just machines, bots and not real human and have certain algorithm so its tough job. In this algorithm they try to filter the best content/page from similar pages. If you have a page which explains about getting your ex-gf back , there are certainly 1000s of similar articles already in the Internet so you can never expect getting top result though your article is unique. This is just a algorithm and if you had just copied one of the published article in your site then also the results in search engine would have been same. So there is nothing special with duplicate content. Its just normal issue. Search engines just filter the duplicate but never penalize or kick out !

Internet is world to share stuffs and how can anyone be penalized by sharing content ?

You can feel free post articles from other websites without expecting that you will get top search engine ranking. If you were fast enough to post, lets say there is a news of PM dead and you have a news site. You published the news from CNN.COM to your website by changing title a little within 10 -30 minutes then you may be ranked in top 10 of search engine. Who knows ? Else, you will be nowhere ranked. This also doesn’t harm to you. Just publish one original content and it will be ranked well. When you get traffic from that original content people will also visit your other duplicate stories. There is nothing loss for you by publishing duplicate content.

For those who are worried if someone steals my content, just forget about it. It is good point that people are sharing your content in their sites and you are getting a link back. You don’t have to worry even if your content doesn’t get top ranked and the one who published duplicate got it ! This will rarely happen ! And if it happens also, won’t happen often.

I say, Publishing Duplicate Content is nothing bad. Its all about sharing stuffs. But if you get lazy and use some auto-posting software that posts all content through RSS or something like that you are surely a bastard and cheater ! EEEE, Lets not say that. Lets say you are a Black-hatter ! Hiyo Black-hatter ! If you can’t write yourself or can’t afford to pay writer then never worry. be cool and publish best stuffs by choosing from Internet that matches your niche. people will surely love it. What if i open ASIACNN site where i only publish asian news from CNN.COM, bbc.com etc. A group of people will love it. The only point to be penalized is if you are running a auto-blog that runs with some software or automation tool.

I am hopeful that you guys are clear on Duplicate Content Myth ! Feel freee to discuss

This is open discussion. Is Fahmi Slail Legit ?

As you all know Internet is good source of income as well as a good platform to outsource your work in affordable price. However, it is also very true that there are 1000s of scammers here who will take your money and give you nothing. You should always be beware of such companies, people. It is really hard to determine who is not scammer but looking for the reviews by searching in google would be best way. Search for the company and person working there in google and find out about their past history. The best way would be to take reference from friends who have already done similar work.

Today, when i searched Digital Point forum i found one story that was real and the friend was cheated by a person named Fahmi Slail. I trusted the statements that he gave in forum and also looked at the email history which he provided in is blog. See here : http://fahmislail-precisionsystems-money.blogspot.com/2009/11/scammer-fahmi-slail-beware-of-precision.html
The email history are enough to explain all and he would have never bothered to post that if he was not really scammed. It is now not time to feel sad for him but time to be aware and be careful when you are hiring any person/company for your work. I myself is a online worker and have tried best to satisfy all of clients which is never possible actually. In DP, once i was ill and was unable to complete a job in time due to which i got 2 negative reviews. It was actually given by same person.. Anyways, i gave him project and got negative review + paypal balance blocked. Actually i lost much. This means you won;t be able to satisfy everyone while working.

Well, the main point here is of being aware. I have posted this post here in order to support you all for not being scammed again by someone. Whenever there is case of big money like 1000s dollars you will have to try to find some company near your area. Like if you are in INDIA find real office in INDIA whom you can meet and talk there. Make legal agreements and then proceed. I will never suggest you to outsource the work to unknown company or the company/person abroad when there is matter of big money (If possible). If not possible then see the review, consult with many people and then make agreement before proceeding. In case of small amounts if you have good reputation then you can pay after the job completion. Worker also will trust you since you have good reputation. Problem arises only if you are new and have no reputation because worker also may be afraid of being scammed. In such case you have to hire reputed worker and pay upfront. In this way there will be less chance of being scammed for both parties.
But i really wonder how people can scam, take money and run away .. WTF will they get by that small money ? They think that we can cheat anyone online but what i think is working online is even more hard. Today, Fahmi Slail cheated $1200 and lost millions because do you think anyone would take his services after reading all these ? Even if he pays off $2400 now his reputation won’t be back. So, understand this point and never cheat anyone if you wanna progress. Guys, lets make a community and then move together. Lets work together and profit together.

Note: I am user of DP and saw post there about being cheated so i posted here too. I am not clear about the matter and want to be clear and make other too. If Fahmi Slail is legit then also discussion here should prove it. Please post your reviews here and make everything clear.
Comments are must here. LOL

Most Americans are regular coffee drinkers and quite familiar with home espresso machines, home coffee makers, and Bunn Coffee Filters. Nonetheless, how much do you really know about all of the coffee myths currently circulating? One of the most recent coffee myths to be debunked is that drinking coffee when you are drunk will not sober you up! In the past, many people felt that drinking a cup of Joe would immediately sober you up after a night of drinking, but it actually puts you in an even more dangerous position.

As it turns out, the affects of alcohol and coffee together will only create a very alert drunk, who is still drunk regardless. This means that the buzz of caffeine, so to speak, can impair your judgment if you are inebriated so that you will make poor decisions because you will think that you are more sober than you actually are. It is best not to rely upon caffeine if you are drinking because it will only serve to negate the effects of alcohol, but it will not remove it from your system. Many people rely upon a cup of coffee to sober them up, but it actually does not have the capability to do so. Another coffee myth revealed!

Hello
I would like to wish you best blogging and better internet income for next year LOL I am talking about internet and blogging because i love it. If you have any other business then please don’t mind, i wish you all the best and better than this year in your field whatever it may. I evaluate all work as same. Imagine, if we hadn’t driver how could we sustain ? What if there were no waiter and cooks in hotels ? LOL if all were blogging then who would open store rooms and cloth centers ? Who would treat you when you are ill ? Hmm, we need watchman and he is most important to us. BLA BLA BLA..
I always have been following the rule : Do whatever you like and what your heart says. If you are reading this blog then you must have known much about me. If you are new here then go through it. You will see good article also (which were obviously not written by me. lol you can easily guess my english quality). However, being my personal blog, most of the posts are written by me which is must also. I just write what i feel and never think much. Personal Blogging is that and it is fun also.

Lets go to New year .. For me it is not new year. In my system it is just running half of the year 2067 LOL, Whatever, this is system here. But, i am planning to enjoy the New Year 2010. This way, i will be celebrating two new years each year. What a LUCK
Guys n girls, tell me how are you gonna celebrate new year ? Please keep in mind about your parents and try not to do what they don’t like. Example : Drinking too much and coming home late. If you drink much don;t come to home stay somewhere with your friends please.

Another example : doing party and playing music till late night. WTF ? You don’t have right to disturb others. If all are doing party then join them but never disturb others please. I also hate such things but it is must to adjust in our society. Actually, my dad told me all these .. I will try to follow as much as possible.

Post comments about how you enjoyed your new year eve .. I will surely update you all.

Its true isn’t it? Fashion does tend to repeat itself. Take a good look at what the runways have right now and if you search hard enough…you will find that at least a quarter of the current stuff on the runways has been inspired by retro or vintage looks!!

But what does retro or vintage actually mean? Does it mean that the same old clothes are removed and washed, and presented again as new looks? Or does it mean that designers combine old fashions with current trends to create vintage-inspired new looks?

It can be very surprising and frankly, it does sound like cheating. How can major designers stoop to recycle old fashions into new trends when they look exactly the same? Are we that uninspired in the modern age that designers have to resort to cannibalizing old fashions?

Let’s just find out, shall we?

“Vintage fashions”: How did the trend start?

No one knows exactly when and what created an interest in vintage fashion. Till a few years back, anyone who wore old clothes was simply referred to as cheap but all that changed when fashionistas and celebrities started wearing gowns from the yesteryear collections of designers like Karl Lagerfield and Chanel to red carpet events. Pretty as a picture gowns that were essentially designed way back in the 1920s- and 1930s suddenly came in to prominence and the style slowly started to seep down into the younger Hollywood set. Fashionista twin celebrities like Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen where another teen sensation that wore vintage fashion consistently. Not that they made it look good but for some reason, they managed to make it work! The essential look that they sported was old combined with a few expensive new pieces that created a completely new look. The tweens also managed to make a complete fashion empire of the look by designing and selling the patchwork look through their in-house fashion line for students. Eclectic stars like Dita Von Teese and Chole Sevigny also were deep fans of the look and although they were initially panned for their old fashioned dressing sense, they did manage to garner praise and acceptability over time. But no one managed to nail the look as Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. Over a few years time, almost every student in every major city in the US was now raiding their parent’s clothes closets to find fashions that could be distilled to form hip and happening college wear!

But how does vintage dressing translate to modern trends? And how do designers manage to incorporate old looks into their fashion collections without getting accused of stealing?

One major group of people that can be blamed for the surge in recycling of trends and fashion styles are fashion stylists! In an effort to create distinctive looks for the stars they were dressing, popular stylists started raiding charity run second hand clothing stores, garage sales, car boot sales, flea markets, antique stores, estate sales, vintage clothing stalls and collectible fairs. It was always possible to find cheap but still wear worthy clothes that no one else had or had worn to red carpet events. Distinctive but old fashioned dresses could then be tweaked and dressed up by designers to look different! And more often than not, stars who were dressed so different to the current modern trends were lauded by the media for being “different, classy, and stylish.” It created enough of a media hullabaloo to make the stylist, the Hollywood star and the dress instantly memorable in the public mind. This dress would then go on to be copied and used by other designers as an “inspiration” for their collections. But most designers were savvy enough to use the original design only with subtle and distinctive design changes of their own! And that led to fashion recycling without any copyright infringement!

Can you blame only stylists for the recurrence of old fashions?

No, to be totally fair we can’t! Apart from the fact that popular stars do dictate fashion trends with their dressing and quirky styles: fashion itself tends to be cyclical! And one man spent years trying to prove this! According to respected fashion historian, James Laver, there happens to be a timeline by which a style is viewed over the years. Trends are cyclical and whether you like it or not you can expect one trend to be back in style about 150 years down the line. Lavers law stated that a trend will start looking attractive about 50 years from the time it was popular and there is a step by step progression by which you will be considered hip or weird when you sport the trend. His simple to remember rule stated in 1937 that still holds strong can be simply explained as follows-

* A trend that is sported 10 years before it time will be considered- indecent
* A trend that is sported five years before its time will be considered – shameless
* A trend that is sported one year before it time is considered – daring
* Sporting a trend during the peak of its fashion is considered- smart
* One year after the style has disappeared – dowdy
* 10 years after the style has passed on – hideous
* 20 years after the style has passed on – ridiculous
* 30 years after the style has passed on – amusing
* 50 years after the style has passed on – quaint
* 70 years after the style has passed on – charming
* 100 years after the style has passed on – romantic
* 150 years after the style has passed on – beautiful

Most industry pundits have sworn that Laver managed to get the fashion cycle bang on. But in the last few years, there has been a dramatic change.

Faster absorption and faster application of fashion to mainstream dressers!

We now live in a faster and well connected world. Fashion shows and trends are updated on the internet daily. Catwalk pictures and tips on how to wear the catwalk fashions filter down to the common man that much faster too. As a result, current fashion trends appear on the common may much faster. Eventually boredom will kill the trend but not till designers, models and trendsetters have exploited it to the max. Then it goes through the stages of being dowdy, hideous, and ridicules and eventual hibernation till it pops up again in a refined and better avatar 50 -150 years down the line!

How do modern designers reinterpret vintage trends and designs into modern clothes?

Most of the modern day designers were not around when fun funky fashions like hammer pants, disco and ruffles were in fashion. As a result, several of these fashion trends were memorable for young designers who remembered their parents or fashion idols of their generation wearing them. As a result, distilling the essence of the style but putting in their distinctive personal statement to the garment became a trademark of recycling trends. And it did make sense! One way to understand it is by taking a look at vintage trends that are now back-in-vogue in 2010. At present, one distinctive trend that has made a sudden comeback is shoulder pads for females. These featured heavily in the 80s where power dressing for women like Joan Collins and Sheena Easton personified classy suits with hefty shoulder pads. Modern designers like Emma Griffiths have now taken the large sized shoulder pads but reinvented them to make them add style to skinny sleeved sharp silhouettes. And the fashion has already filtered down to models like Agyness Deyn and Kate Moss wearing the look at red carpet do’s. Both of these trendsetters are well known for their forward thinking fashion styles. Kate Moss wearing a particular fashion creates an instant acceptance for the look that will filter down to the masses and the cycle starts up again!

So are there any popular trends that have returned time and again over the years?

Well yes…there have been several trends that have returned back in different avatars over the years and for the skeptics, here is a quick rundown of what has been back and what is expected to be back in the year 2010.

1. Hammer pants- these disgusting variant of the Indian Jodhpur was first worn by rapper MC Hammer. Luridly colored, huge and baggy, they were ideal for the moves that he showed while rapping. But distillations of the look have appeared on the ramp again and again over the last few years. Ranging from large baggy pants, to small baggy pants to dropped crotch pants and still later to form the disgusting dhoti pants! And frankly, the look suited no one and still suits very few people.
2. The 70’s with their bell bottoms, flared sleeves, and platform shoes have made their return an innumerable amount of times. And once was more than enough for me. I wasn’t around in the original 70’s but seeing them once around was more than enough for me! Please no more of the 70’s… I don’t think I can survive them again!
3. Fitted trends were famous for a time in between. But then they were out of fashion and then they came back in again. The sad part about fitted clothes was that very few people actually had the body and fitness to wear these clothes! But designers will still insist on showing stick thin models with gorgeous clothes that can fit no normal person!
4. Leopard prints…Bah! Just who does this suit except for the stick thin? Jungle prints are popular and they are always on and off the catwalk but to tell you the truth; no ordinary woman can carry it off!
5. Ultra short dresses and skirts are always in. there is something about long, long legs that makes men crazy! And no matter what kind of year its gonna be…minis are always going to be an hot item when they are on the catwalk. Of course, ultrashort dresses work the same way exposing oodles of satiny skinny legs too! But one of the most disgusting trends as of late on the catwalk this season is the “no pants” look that has emerged. That means ultra short dresses and minis that make you believe that the person has forgotten to wear her pants! I shudder to think how this will translate to real life!

But it isn’t all that bad. There are a few trends that do look good every time they come back. Recycled trends that were great in the beginning and that still look when the come around are-

1. Costume jewelry is so in and frankly it makes every woman including me very happy. If you can find lines of ornate affordable faux jewelry to wear with everyday and formal wear; it’s just so much fun. Bangles, dangles and of course the quintessential faux pearls are just fun to buy every time this trend comes around!
2. Sigh…The 70’s have been beaten to death by now but those clunky platform shoes are never ever going to be out of fashion forever. Four inch heels are going to back this season and they will be around for a long time to come.
3. Bold Prints look great on anyone and every one. Just make sure that you fit the style to the current trend and time and you should do absolutely fine every time the style rolls around.
4. Trendy handbags. Till recently, large clunky handbags were in but try to make sure that you find at least a single bag this is modern yet pretty and you should fine. Try simple lines and a single color in black or white. Large or small does not really matter but simplicity will be able to last longer than trends
5. the black cocktail dress is always in. long, short, dark, light, fitted or flared…a well made and beautifully fitted little black cocktail dress is ideal for wearing anywhere and its frankly never out of fashion. Dress it up or dress it down…it will work at any function too.

Ah well, no matter what happens you have to remember that fashion is fickle. You may be the right person to wear it but unless you have the panache to carry off the trend…it just won’t work on you.

Who wouldn’t want to look like Kate Moss and Bridgette Nielsen? I, for one, would be very likely to give up my left eye and my right one too if there was a remote chance that I would look like Kate Moss! But that’s not going to be likely for my curvaceous 30+ body with baby bearing hips. And don’t get me wrong; I’ve made my peace with that a long time ago. But the prevalent idea is that “ the thinner you look, the prettier you are, and the prettier you are, the better the chances of snagging a rich man and that means the wealthier you will be; and of course, the wealthier you are; the happier you will be!” A sad saga but nonetheless a very true fact in the minds of millions of women!

But not everyone can be as thin as Kate Moss! Think about it: Kate Moss created the trend of being thin just because she naturally was thin and waif-like. Now for her, this was a completely normal phenomenon as she seemed to have an extremely fast metabolism that completely burned away all the food that she ate. But the same stick thin physique is not something everyone can aspire for! Women can be of different ages and weights and cultural backgrounds and they come in different shapes and sizes. And beauty can have thousands of meanings in different cultures but in recent years, I found that no woman is completely happy with the way she looks and weighs! And that can be attributed to a media drive that states again and again that “thin is in and thin is pretty!”

The fact was reinforced when Britany Spears, mother of two, was panned for jiggling her twice pregnant body at the MTV awards! And a look at the performance will show you that apart from poor lip syncing and a pathetic performance, there was absolutely nothing wrong with her body. Is it any wonder that the star had to resort to bulimia to lose that weight and fast! It was curvaceous, toned and beautiful for a mother of two! But no, a media outcry like no other forced the already troubled star to lose weight dramatically which she managed in the span of a month.

But you can’t really blame the celebs for everything. Living under a 24-7 media scrutiny can and will cause anyone to feel that the just might have their underwear showing! And they want to look good; it was and still is their job to look good! And if the media and advertising agencies say that thin is in; then that’s what they’ll do to make sure that they don’t lose their jobs! It was as simple as that! But the scary fact is that thousands of impressionable teenagers now considered thin to be in too. The same message filtered down to nine and ten year olds who want to emulate their idols right down to their clay feet.

Other stars that had to face the same flack are
•	Sharon Osbourne who had colon cancer, recovered from that but later went on to state that her bulimia was worse than the colon cancer and more difficult to treat!
•	Whitney Houston who shocked fans by literally appearing to be skin and bones when she went on for a live performance after several years.
•	Tara Reid who breasts disappeared due to the drastic fat loss that happens in anorexia!

But what are eating disorders and how are they related to celebrities and the media?
For years, researchers have tried to make the world and women realize that eating disorders where women intentionally starve themselves are not something to be taken lightly. But it took the death of Brazilian model Ana Carolina Reston, at the age of 21, with the absolutely horrifyingly low weight of 88 pounds, to finally galvanize the world into action! Eating disorders finally came under the microscope for the large range of problems they were causing! Researchers were able to isolate two major types of eating disorders that affected both men and women. Anorexia nervosa and Bulimia nervosa were two psychological diseases that forced women to feel that they were overweight. Although both diseases seemed to run together they had different characteristics as you will find out below.

What does Anorexia do?
Anorexics had an intense fear of gaining weight so they stopped eating completely. Even if they did eat, it was in so tiny amounts that no one noticed. This stoppage of food resulted in a sudden weight loss that was very noticeable. But the affected woman would still perceive her body as overweight. They would obsess over calories and even cut food into tiny pieces to avoid eating. Almost 90% of those affected are female and the disease is seen in women who are in high profile positions like models, ballerinas and gymnasts where weight is an important issue.

The effects felt on the body were intense. Due to the sudden stoppage of nutrition, the body struggles to cope with day to day activities. Necessary activities like beating of the heart, breathing and pulse rates are all slowed down to conserve energy. Bones become brittle, skin turns dry and yellow, and the body starts to use up reserve areas of fat that are found in breasts, buttocks and cheeks. The loss of the fatty layers of the body causes the body to lose heat faster and anorexic women are always cold. In order to compensate, the body then grows fine hair all over called lanugo to trap heat close to the body. This results in affected woman looking flat chested, gaunt cheeked and with downy hair on hands and legs. The lack of proper nutrition also resulted in a loss of potassium that slows down the beating of the heart. Continued loss of nutrition will eventually cause the heart to stop beating resulting in a heart attack which was the cause of death of Brazilian model Ana Carolina Reston and singer-song writer Karen Carpenter.

What can Bulimia do?
Bulimia on the other hand has slightly different symptoms and signs. Bulimia starts at a slightly higher age group compared to anorexia and it’s much harder to detect too. Here too women have a false perception of being overweight even when they are normal. They eat normal amounts of food but they tend to forcibly void the food they eat just after eating. Common methods of inducing vomiting are by drinking salt water or by sticking their fingers down their throat. Another sign is that the stomach acid can literally eat through enamel giving bulimics a foul oral odor and destroyed teeth. They also tend to over exercise in an effort to lose weight. Dehydration, malnutrition and electrolyte imbalances are a common side effect resulting in heart failure.

What role do the media play in promoting eating disorders?
Until a few years back, eating disorders were actually considered as diets! Bu they are not and the stakes for the advertising agencies and media are huge. In an attempt to lose weight, women are more likely to be insecure about what they wear and how they look. This will make them buy more beauty aids, weight loss aids and contraptions and diet aids. At present, the American diet industry is estimated to be a whopping 40 million to 100 billion dollars big. Exposing women to stick thin ideals of womanly perfection just makes them try anything and everything to lose weight resulting in a billion dollar beauty and weight loss industry! Ads in papers, magazines and even cookery mags have women who are thin and who “happen” to be happy because of it. A recent survey has also shown that women’s magazines can show three times more ads with stick thin figures compared to men’s magazines. TV and movies also reinforce the ideal with a thin body being considered sexy and healthy when the opposite can just as well be true.

Fashion designers too have their hand in the same mess due to their insistence on rail thin models with size zero figures that will show off clothes rather than the women in the clothes! Most runway models were and still are aged between 14 to 19 of age which could extend up to 16 or 17 years of age. The averaged a height of 5-foot-10 or 5-foot-11 and weighed 120 to 124 pounds. Most models also were in the range of size 2- 4. Designers created dresses that were size zero to four just so their clothes would look better. And all this was in direct contradiction to the fact that almost all normal women ranged from size 10- 14 and were far shorter in height with shorter necks and shorter legs. Not all the pictured magazines would also show actual women who were size zero in their ads. Quite a few of the printed ads were and still are air brushed, tweaked and graphically changed to appear thin and waif like! When a real model cannot be that thin, advertisers tried to fool viewers with graphic tweaking to get unreal results; which can actually be considered cheating!

The media also went all overboard in promoting stars like Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton who have become famous because of their thin bodies and pretty faces. The main tragedy is that although there are thousands of women who are breaking barriers in medicine, science and politics; only women like pretty-but-dumb Sarah Palin, and Socialite Paris Hilton are well known!

The world of PRO-ANA!
This section literally gave me sleepless nights and I would like to welcome anyone who believes that anorexia is good to take a look here. The internet can be really great but the anonymity that it provides can be scary too. With the rising incidence of eating disorders, another really disturbing trend emerged online. There is now a whole section of the internet that deals with anonymous anorexics helping each other deeper into the disease by covering it up from relatives and family. Cyber galleries of real life stick women, chat rooms with anonymous anorexics where tips on how to fool your parents from discovering that you are an anorexic, how to purge and vomit out food better, and how to cover the smell of vomit after purging; are just a few things that are discussed at PRO ANA websites. Scary pictures of skinny ribs and emancipated arms and legs were enough to put me off any further research at any site but my heart still aches for the stories that the girls have written.

LET ME BE REALLY STRAIGHT HERE: IT’S NOT A JOKE PEOPLE AND ANOREXIA IS NOT A DIET, PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT PRO ANA WEBSITES

The current zeitgeist of thinness!
But it’s not all bad! There are women who are overweight and curvy but are perfectly health nonetheless. With celebrities being open about the pressure to look good 24-7, the media has finally woken up to the fact that being ultra thin is not really a great idea! Fashion houses and fashion events like the Madrid Fashion Week have begun to ban models who are under a certain weight and who look too thin to be normal. A few magazines have started using plus sized models of campaigns. But there is a long way to go yet!

I sometime wonder what the parents of these teenagers and children must be going through. We work all our lives to make our children comfortable, so that we can give them what they want and when they want it. But when your child has anorexia or bulimia; that very same lovely child is now intentionally starving herself or himself to death and you might not know about or be able to do anything about it till it’s too late!

The fact is that thousands of impressionable teenagers all over the world are now literally dying to be thin and they eventually will die leaving grief stricken parents behind because of that insane media driven ambition to be thin!

Making a movie out of a superb novel has always been a difficult task. But the experiment of Watchmen 2009 after a comic novel has been a successful attempt. Watchmen 2009 not an easy movie to be reviewed as it is based on the comic book of Alan Moore and Patrick Wilson. Basically it is a super hero film of the year which is directed wonderfully by Zack Snyder. The story is about the cold war tension between the United States of America and Soviet Union. It has focused the tension prevailing in the year 1985 when a group of people who were illegally taking the responsibility to punish the criminals, came to know that they had a conspiracy against them. The film has been produced by Lawrence Gordon, Lloyd Levin and Deborah Snyder. While the screen play has been written by English screen play writers: David Hyter and Alex Tse. David Hyter is a famous Canadian-American screenplay writer as well as an actor. The music of this movie has been given by Tyler Bates. The movie was released on 6th march, 2009 and earned over $185 millions. The movie has been reviewed differently as it left the viewers with different impressions and ideas about the superheroes. The reviewers who belong to USA found it charismatic and positive movie but the Australian reviewers are totally opposed to this idea. One of the Australian reviewers, Lynden Barber commented in these words:

“The movie is fatally hobbled in my view by several problems including laughably bad and often pretentious ‘B’ grade dialogue – delivered indifferently at the very best – and a surfeit of violence-porn only marginally softened by its stylized context.” (Lynden Barber, 2009)

Lynden Barber also revealed doubt about the ability of the directors to make the actors deliver dialogs. Despite criticism, the viewers really appreciated the team of watchmen while the success of the film divided the critics in the world box office in two groups; one of which gave entirely positive remarks to the idea of super hero while others criticized on the same super hero kind. As the film watchmen 2009 was based on a comic novel, it received great appreciation as its run time was best suited to the flow of novel. So the people, who had previously read the comic of watchmen by Alan Moore and Patrick Wilson, did not find the movie projecting dissimilar graphics and images as the novel actually portrayed. Moreover, the movie was financed with $130 million and earned a gross profit more than $185 millions which reveal the success of the whole team of Watchmen 2009.

The lead cast of the film is: Malin Ackerman, Billy Crudup, Mathew Goode, Carla Gugino, Jackie Haley, Jeffrey Morgan, Patrick Wilson, Matt Frewer and Stephen Mc Hattie. The story of watchmen can not be easily described in a snapshot as it has wonderful situations and enthusiastic plot which can be best perceived if you go to watch the movie. Otherwise only an idea of plot can be presented. So watchmen is the story of a group which is not a legal entity but still, works to protect united states of America from the criminal offenses. For this reason, it is an illegal union which is punishing criminals operating in the US. The vigilantes were using masks and costumed as a response to the criminal gangs which were also using masks to hide their identity. Masks were used in the old times to project an image what is desired and to hide the expressions from the opponent. It also preserves identity and impression. Therefore, with the use of masks an image has been communicated to the audiences. The basic purpose behind the organization of vigilantes was to cope with the crimes which are not addressed by the law and constitution. For this purpose the group had to face many troublesome situations. So they were the watchmen of the humanity and fought the criminal gangs for relieve powerless groups of their society. They also had to break the law themselves as they had no way out. In fact it is a wonderful comic as people have never read before, a comic like this one. So it was a dream of the watchmen movie directors to bring this comic on the big screen with its actual essence. The positive reviewers are right in the argument that the directors have been successful to a great extent in bringing a comic to the big screen. In fact we can never find perfection in world so utopian ideas in the comics can never be perfectly turned into reality.
